Document Analysis

Having worked closely with diverse documentation requirements since the 1980s, and now being at the forefront of XML-based interactive technical documents and the associated viewing technology, the Piper Group is in a strong position to advise businesses on their data management requirements.

A key part of this process is document analysis, whereby documentation is reviewed in the context of existing or planned business objectives and recommendations made for improvements.  The scope of review is potentially as wide-ranging as the diversity of documentation involved, possibly encompassing hard copy legacy documentation as well as existing and proposed electronic data.

From thorough document analysis, which may be enterprise-wide or simply at departmental level, it is possible to identify new requirements, plan future documentation strategies and identify the best ways to use valuable legacy data.

Because of the work we do in support of rapidly evolving documentation for the aerospace and defence sectors, we are in a strong position to apply our experience in support of other organisations’ document analysis requirements.
