Description :
Mechanical/Electrical Technical Authors required working on long term contracts in Warton. Working for Piper Group Plc, you will a hands-on knowledge of Aircraft Mechanical/Avionic Systems gained within HM Forces perhaps as a Mechanical/Electrical Technician or Engineer or Avionics Engineer/Technician.
Experience Required :
The Mechanical/Electrical Technical Author role will involve the production of Technical Documentation for the Nimrod MRA4 and Typhoon Aircraft. Using SGML, you will liaise with all aspects of engineering and work alongside Technical Illustrators.
Full Technical Author training will be provided in return for your experience gained in a hands-on Aircraft/Avionic Systems environment. The successful Mechanical/Electrical Technical Technician must have good MS Office skills.
