Description :
Piper Group are looking for a Desk Top Publisher for a 6 month contract in Preston. Main duties will be traditional and electronic publishing tasks, SGML keying, processing, scanning and formatting.
Experience Required :
Working within a small publishing environment of a large organisation the position for a Desk Top Publisher requires the following elements:
Key Responsibility areas:
DVD/CD QA builds as required
SGML Keying/processing activities
Scanning/formatting processes
Traditional and electronic publishing tasks
Key Skills:
Familiarity with Desk Top Publishing is an asset
Understanding electronic file and folder management and manipulation using Windows XP is an advantage.
Familiarity with SGML and HTML would be an advantage.
Ideally you will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be interested in a 6 month + contract in Preston.
