Recruitment Co-ordinator - 6 Month Contract Working for a multinational defence company in Bristol, the Recruitment Co-ordinator will report into the Resource Manager and be responsible for providing a visible first class Recruitment/Administration service by providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Using your effective communication (both verbal and written) and organisation skills, you will be able to prioritise your own workload, meeting given deadlines and targets.

Tasks/Responsibilities/Accountabilities:-
- Support the Resource Manager in short listing candidates for roles. This will involve calling candidates to assess their suitability against the given criteria and gathering the necessary information required, for example, notice period, rates etc.
- Searching for suitable candidates using the in-house Recruitment Database and other external sites.
- Using the Recruitment Database you will produce lists of candidates to call for a general up-date.
- Develop a direct candidate database and retain records and statistical data in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
- Regular communication with the candidate to advise them of interview feedback, job offers etc.
- Producing e-shots and mailers to send to candidates using mail merge.
- Drafting recruitment correspondence and producing excel spreadsheets as and when required.
- To meet Key Performance Indicators as set by the Resource Manager and to produce reports as agreed.
- Co-ordinate candidate attraction campaigns by producing and placing appropriate job advertisements in order to professionally source appropriate skills within required timescale according to the Service Level Agreements. This may include conducting telephone or face to face interviews as appropriate ensuring that Equality of Opportunity is applied to both existing and new recruits.
- Attend Employment Fairs and site visits as required in order to provide face to face contact with Contractors/Employees and the customer.
- Participate in meetings as agreed with the Resource Manager.
- Managing work experience/placement programmes.
Knowledge/Experience Required:-
- Demonstrate total commitment and professionalism to providing a quality recruitment service through excellent communication/customer service skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are a must have quality.
- Task orientated and tenacious, for example, able to call candidates one after the other whilst remaining focused and committed.
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets whilst managing a varied workload with sometimes conflicting priorities. Capable of reprioritising workload taking into account resources and contingency in response to customer priorities.
- Able to manage own recruitment activity and time.
- Strong planning and organising skills.
