Using EPIC1000D - S1000D authoring application for Arbortext Epic

Essential for anyone needing to produce technical documentation to the AECMA S1000D specification.

This course provides comprehensive training in the requirements of the S1000D specification, and use of the Piper EPIC1000D authoring application (within the Arbortext authoring environment) in order to produce documentation to the required standard.

Course format is hands-on, with lecture and group discussion. Full Course materials, including presentation copy, notes and exercises are provided.

Prerequisites

• Basic PC literacy including:
  • Use of a pointing device (i.e. mouse) and NT/Win9x functions
  • Executing Startup
  • Navigating with Windows Explorer
  • Saving files
• Basic experience with your chosen authoring application (this is not a proprietary product training course)
• Previous knowledge of AECMA 1000D
